Neem oil has been touted as a miracle product. It is extracted from neem (Azadirachta indica), a tropical tree known in India as ‘Neemba – the tree of life.’ PRIME NEEM OIL is pure, cold-pressed from the neem leaves.

PRIME NEEM OIL contains properties like omega-6 and omega-9 essential fatty acids and vitamin E, but most of its benefits are attributed to the triterpenes – Azadirachtin and Nimbin.

Azadirachtin is known to affect over 200 species of insects by acting mainly as an anti-feedant and insect growth disruptor. It also interferes with insect hormone systems, making it harder for insects to grow and lay eggs. Nimbin is known to have anti-inflammatory, antiseptic, antifungal, antihistamine, and fever reducing properties.

Customer Reviews

First of all this is not a commercial. I am just sharing what is working!! So people have been asking me about what I am doing to keep the bugs off the horses. I am using Neem oil which you can get from Diana Bayer. Yes you can get it on line…I have checked, but by the time you pay shipping it works out about the same. I personally like to support local folks as well an Prime Hemp the supplier is Canadian!! Most of the stuff on line comes from India. I have a couple of recipes that I am testing mixing it with apple cider vinegar/water and Fiskes for a spray. It works great except it is a bit thick so I think better sprayer is in order. I am going to try the recipe recommend by Prime Hemp which is just neem oil, cider vinegar, water and a couple of essential oils. Waiting for the essential oils to arrive and then going to do experiments. So with the spray on, hard to say if it is the Neem or the Fiskes or both that do the job. however, I put Neem directly on a sponge ( a little goes a long way) and do underside of the horses and there is NO STOMPING. no horse flies or any flies, I am all also putting it directly on one horse that has a bunch of hair gone due to a kick and am documenting that.

I love this stuff. I just wipe it on their sheaths, under-bellies, under the neck, and legs. My herd is so much quieter.

I find the stomping stops, the tails still swish but the feet are quiet and the frantic running and throwing themselves around stops.
